Florida Master Gardener Training in Gulf County


Gulf County Master Gardener Program Beginning in February 2017
Could you be a Gulf County Master Gardener?
Do you like to learn about plants, growing things and gardening?
Are you willing to participate in an intensive training program?
Do you like working with people, sharing your knowledge, and offering help?
Do you have time to train and volunteer in our community?

The Master Gardener curriculum is presented over a 4-month period. Classes will be held each Tuesday morning from 10:00 a.m. to Noon est., beginning on February 7th at the Gulf County Extension – Port St. Joe Satellite Office at 502 East 4th Ave. (coming soon). Additionally, every third Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to Noon is a work/demonstration day at a school or community garden in either Wewahitchka or Port St. Joe. Participants will have the opportunity to test and apply the techniques and skills developed in class.
